I started in this business in 1998 as a teller at a small-town bank. I studied finance and worked in the industry every summer until I graduated with a finance degree from the University of Montana. I was the only person selected from my business school class to take the summer training course with D.A. Davidson in 2006. I continued to grow my expertise and became a CFP® professional in 2011. This business has been my plan since I can remember, and I have no intention of quitting any time soon. I read finance books on the weekend and listen to finance podcasts while I’m doing the dishes after my kids go to sleep.
